My Brown Boys taking the floor in the three-legged race. They passed by all three other pairs which eliminated those pairs from finishing. The Brown Boys were the only ones in the square at the pin. Wooohoo! Teamwork!!!
Connor and Austin ran the relay. When Austin passed the baton to Connor, Con almost dropped it. He did the super-cool roll-the-baton-over-the-knuckles and didn't lose it. I guess playing the drums has helped him run a relay!
BOTH of KABC's groups of T&T kids won for their circles. We had to have two groups because we had that many kids who wanted to participate. They were a very excited bunch and had signs and pom-poms rooting for the Sparkies from the stands. Good team spirit.
But the best part was hearing the nice comments from judges, coaches, and parents from other churches. Word was that this group of kids played well, was respectful, and took wins and losses in stride.
