Thanksgiving

Of course we have a lot to be thankful for. I'm not going to give you a list but I'll share with you some recent events that I am thankful for right now while I'm sitting here and typing. These are just the "right nows" because that's how my brain functions best. (also known as "memory loss due to progressed age."

Renee - Myspace and Facebook have allowed me to connect with people all over the world. But more great things have come from facebook recently. I have looked for years for one of my childhood friends. She moved away 20+ years ago and I dearly loved and cared for her. She has a common last name so it was like the proverbial needle-in-a-haystack trying to find her. Through a friend of a friend, I found her sister. And now Renee is in town for Thanksgiving as her HUSBAND has family in Valrico of all places. I'm going to see her tomorrow. And I'm probably going to cry.

Family - We spent Turkey Day in Orlando with 20 other family members and I forgot my camera. You'll have to take my word for it that we are a bunch of good-looking people. ;-) Our Brown family Thanksgiving meal was today. I am thankful for the women in our Brown family. Rarely do I get into conflicts with these girls and I can talk to them about anything. I am thankful to be married into this family. All of the Browns (male, female, and furry) are a blessing to me.
