Oh, they hate the goo. And, my mom spoiled me. I didn't TOUCH the goo until I was carving pumpkins with my children. I think it's gross. Seeing as our jack-o-lanterns didn't make it two days without mold (and I'm told it wasn't just Florida this year), I think we'll not take out the goo next year and just have pretty, whole pumpkins for our Punkins.

Wal-mart has these Potato Head pieces that you can just stick in your pumpkin. or you could paint them, too.
ummhh... I guess my invite to carve pumpkins got lost in the mail. I recall a certain family over to MY house to carve pumpkins a year or two.....
