Are you ready?

Yes, a new blog from Kel. There will soon be pictures again. Since I bought my FIRST digital camera in June, I've had nothing but computer problems. NOW I have an external hard drive and last nite/this morning, I left my camera dumping the 706 photos directly onto the external drive. This is a HUGE deal for me. Because the next step was DELETING these photos from my memory card. Just so you fully understand my hesitancy and what a big, trusting girl I had to be: I am a photo junkie. It is my passion, it is my income, it has been a part of me (only child) for my entire life. And NEVER have I not had a "hard copy" of a photo, be it a roll of undeveloped film (I know they're in there!), negatives, slides or an actual print. Now in the computer world...computers crash. I've had 4 such crashes in 10 years. This took a great deal of trust for me to dump the pics from my viewing pleasure on my camera.

As a bonus today, I'm going to give you a few photos so you can say "awwww." The 706 pics included FOUR new babies, THREE baby showers, SIX birthday parties, ONE vacation, and our only trip to the beach this summer but we didn't actually go ON the beach - stayed at the pool due to a hurricane in the Gulf.

Little E looks just like Leith. He's smiling and laughing now at 2 months old.



Ayden - quite the character. Now 7 months old. Says "mmmm" after every bite of food.
